This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information we collect through our website (https://eppiecomics.com) and/or Eppie Comics application (collectively “Services”). 1. Information We Collect or Receive about You
We may collect the following personal information through our Services. Often, you may choose what information to provide, but in some cases, we require certain information for you to use, and for us to provide, the Service.
a. Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you provide when you create your own account and login to your account once created or otherwise use the Services, including:
- Identification information: such as your email address, password, username, alias, and profile pictures, etc.
- Date of birth: we may request date of birth, to verify your ability to access certain features of the Services and to tailor content and advertisements to you.
- User contact information: we collect user information to provide responses when you contact us via our Eppie Comics Help Center or make requests or inquiries.
b. Information We Collect from Your Use of Services
We collect information about you and/or the devices you use to access the Services, such as your computer, mobile phone, or tablet. This may include:
- Service usage information: your interactions with the Services, dates and times of use of the Services, any Service usage information collected through cookies.
- Device information: device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information including phone number).
- Log Information: details of how you used our Services such as search queries, transaction history.
- Internet protocol (IP) address; cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your user account; other log information such as device model, OS version, device settings, nation based on IP address, URL and network type; and
- Transaction Data: information such as the credit card number or card company name when making payment by credit card may be collected by the payment agency but we do not retain any personal information.
c. Information collected through 3rd Parties
- Through certain Services, we may collect personal information about your online activities on websites and connected devices over time and across third-party websites, devices, apps and other online features and services. We may use third-party analytics services or providers on the Services, such as Google Analytics. The information we obtain may be disclosed to or collected directly by these providers and other relevant third parties who use the information, for example, to evaluate use of the Services or help administer the Services.

3. When and with Whom We Share Information
We do not share your personal information with strangers. Personal information about you may in some cases provided to our carefully selected partners in order to facilitate the provision of services to you or improve your customer experience. - With Service Providers: We may disclose your information to companies that provide Services on behalf of us, such as companies that help us develop and operate systems for the Service, as well as customer care activities, advertising (including customized advertising on our websites, third-party websites, or online platforms), conducting customer surveys on our behalf. Nevertheless, we shall maintain the confidentiality of all personal information and issue a notice to affected users prior to any transfer of their personal information.
4. Retention of Personal Information
We retain your data until your account is deleted or until it is no longer necessary to provide our services to you - whichever comes first. Such information will be retained and used to the extent required under applicable law, a contract, or with regard to our statutory obligations such as tax or revenue laws.
After the applicable retention period has expired, we will either delete or anonymize your personal information in a manner that prevents its identification or association with you, unless further retention is required under the law. In connection with what we have collected, if your personal information is wrong, in case your personal information is inaccurate, we endeavor to provide you with prompt means to rectify or delete it — unless retaining such information is mandated for legitimate business or legal objectives. When updating your personal information, we may request verification of your identity before we can act on your request. You may ask us to provide details and to correct any inaccuracies via Eppie Comics Help Center (https://help.eppiecomics.com). Please note that we may decline processing requests that are unreasonable, unnecessarily repetitive, infringe upon the privacy of others, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes).
Withdrawing consent: At any time, you reserve the right to retract your consent regarding our processing of your information and your use of our services. For example:
- You can opt-out of email marketing or notifications by using the unsubscribe link to withdraw your consent in such communications.
- You can revoke your consent to our processing of your data and your use of the services by closing your account through the "Delete account" option within your Eppie Comics account settings.
Please be aware that withdrawing your consent may affect your accessibility to particular functions or services on our platform, and it may not affect the lawfulness of any processing that occurred prior to the withdrawal of your consent.

We understand that your personal information is of great importance to you, and endeavor to secure it to the best of our ability. To this end, we have implemented reasonable measures to safeguard the information we collect in connection with the Services.
We regularly monitor our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to our systems.
To ensure that your personal information is handled with the utmost care, we restrict access to personal information to Eppie Comics employees, contractors and agents who require access in order to process it for us. These individuals are bound by strict confidentiality obligations under their contracts with us and may face disciplinary or termination proceedings for non-compliance with such obligations.
However, please note that although we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no website, Internet transmission, computer system, or wireless connection is completely secure.
7. International Transfer of Information
Your use of our Service will involve the transfer, storage, and processing of your personal information within and outside of your country of residence, consistent with this policy. Specifically, your personal information will be transferred to the Republic of Korea. Please note that the data protection and other relevant laws of the countries to which your information may be transferred may not be as comprehensive as those of your country of residence.

We reserve the right to update our Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our personal information practices related to the Service, or changes in applicable law. We will post a notice on our website to notify you in advance of material changes to our Privacy Policy or send an e-mail and indicate at the top of the notice when it was most recently updated. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we safeguard your personal information. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to this Privacy Policy indicates your acceptance of such changes. If you do not wish to acknowledge or accept any updates to this Privacy Policy, you may choose to discontinue using the Service.
9. Children’s Personal Information
We do not target children with our Services. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13(thirteen). If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete such information from our systems. If you believe that a child under age 13 may have provided us with personal information, please contact us as specified in the Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy.
10. Regional Privacy Disclosures
The following additional terms apply respectively to users in certain countries/regions. If there is any conflict between these terms and the main body of the Privacy Policy, the following terms shall prevail.
a. For California Consumers
This California section supplements the Eppie Comics Privacy Policy and applies solely to consumers in California.
Collection and Disclosure of Personal Information
We may have:
1) Collected the following categories of personal information about you:
- Identifiers such as a unique personal identifier (i.e. device identifier; cookies, mobile ad identifiers and similar technology; customer number, unique pseudonym, or user alias; demographic information (such as gender and age); telephone number and other forms of identifiers), online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, and other similar identifiers;
- Internet and other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with websites, applications or advertisements;
- Financial information, such as signature, credit card number, debit card number, and other relevant financial information; and
- Commercial information, including records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, and other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies;
- Sensory information including electronic, visual, or similar information; and
- Inferences drawn from any of the information identified above to create a profile about you reflecting your preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.
2) Collected personal information about you from the following categories of sources:
- From you or your devices, for example, through your use of the Services; and
- Our affiliated companies which provide services on our behalf, such as customer support and payment processing; and
- Social media networks.
3) Collected (or sold) personal information about you for the following business or commercial purposes (in addition to the purposes listed above in the Eppie Comics Privacy Policy) :
- Providing Services or customer service, processing transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing advertising or marketing services, providing analytics services, or providing similar services;
- Detecting security incidents, protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and prosecuting those responsible for that activity;
- Undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration; and
- Undertaking activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of a Service or device that is owned, manufactured, manufactured for, or controlled by us, and to improve, upgrade, or enhance the Service or device that is owned, manufactured, manufactured for, or controlled by us.

5) As the term is defined by the CCPA, we may also sell your personal information with the following categories of third parties:
- A third party as part of an actual or planned merger or transfer, acquisition or sale, or in the event of a bankruptcy;
- Government entities, including law enforcement as required by law.
6) Disclosed the following categories of personal information about you for business purposes:
- Data Analytics Providers: Identifiers such as a unique personal identifier (such as a device identifier; cookies, mobile ad identifiers and similar technology; other forms of identifiers), online identifier, internet protocol address, internet and other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with websites, applications or advertisements.
- Inferences drawn from any of the information identified above to create a profile about you reflecting your preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities and aptitudes.
- We do not knowingly disclose the personal information of consumers at least 13 years of age and less than 16 years of age without prior authorization. We do not disclose personal information of known minors under 13 years of age.
California Consumer Privacy Rights
You may have the right to request, up to two times in a 12-month period, the following information about the personal information we have collected about you during the past 12 months:
- the categories and specific parts of personal information we have collected about you;
- the categories of sources from which we collected the personal information;
- the business or commercial purpose for which we collected or sold the personal information;
- the categories of third parties with whom we shared the personal information; and
- the categories of personal information about you that we sold or disclosed for a business purpose, and the categories of third parties to whom we sold or disclosed that information for a business purpose.
You may also have the right to request that we provide you with;
- a list of certain categories of personal information we have disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the previous calendar year and
- the identity of those third parties.
In addition, you have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you. You also have the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information. We will not deny, discriminate by charging different prices for, or providing a different level or quality of services because you choose to exercise these rights. If you wish to request access or deletion of your personal information or to opt-out of the sale of your personal information, please contact us as specified in the Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy.
Instructions for Authorized Agents Making Requests
If you are unable to exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) yourself, you may have an authorized agent registered with the California Secretary of State submit a request on your behalf. The agent should submit the request in accordance with the access and deletion instructions above or the “opt out” instructions below, in addition to submitting evidence that the agent has received written permission signed by the consumer to submit the request on the consumer’s behalf. When we receive such a request, we will process the request, consistent with our standard process for verifying consumer requests. If requests submitted are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular because of their repetitive character, we may charge a reasonable fee to comply with your request, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Making Requests to “Opt Out” of the “Sale” of “Personal Information”
To submit a request to opt out of the sale of your personal information, you may visit our “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” Right page or contact us via Eppie Comics Help Center as specified in the Contact Us section. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request to opt out on your behalf if you provide the authorized agent signed written permission to do so (see above).
